Shareholders' rights bill introduces rules on notice and agenda for general meetings

A bill on shareholders' rights came into force in the Netherlands as of July 1 2010. The bill implements the European directive on shareholders' rights in Dutch public companies with limited liability whose shares are admitted to trading on a regulated market in the European Economic Area.
