Biography
Sarah Beeston leads the European and Competition Law practice of Van Doorne. She is admitted to the bar in both England and the Netherlands and has also worked for extensive periods in Brussels and Paris. Her international experience adds an extra dimension to her legal advice and approach, which is highly valued by clients. Sarah specialises in the areas of cartels, abuse of dominance, concentrations and state aid in all industries and has specific expertise in the health sector.
Sarah is frequently recommended in independent international surveys, such as Chambers 2008, which qualified Sarah as a: “committed, common-sense lawyer who breaks down the cultural barriers and who knows the wavelength the lawyers are on.” The Legal 500-2008 rates Sarah as ‘excellent’ and she is recommended by PLC 2008.
