Biography
Hugo Reumkens is specialized in corporate law, focusing on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, private equity and joint ventures. Hugo graduated from Tilburg University in 1994 and joined Van Doorne the same year. Subsequently, he obtained a post-doctorate decree in corporate law (Grotius Corporate Law, Nijmegen University, cum laude). He became a partner in January 2002. Hugo is a member of various law associations and frequently publishes and lectures on corporate law matters, in particular in the area of corporate governance. He also teaches at Nijmegen University at the Faculty of Post Graduate Studies. He is recommended by Legal 500 as a corporate governance expert. Hugo is also identified in the Quote top one hundred of promising lawyers.
