Yandex IPO

Van Doorne advised Yandex N.V. on its Initial Public Offering and listing on NASDAQ Global Select Market.

The USD 1.4 billion IPO is the largest internet offering since Google in 2004. Yandex's Class A shares began trading on NASDAQ on 24 May 2011. The Underwriters are Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., and Goldman and Sachs & Co.

Yandex operates the largest search engine in Russia (eighth-largest in the world) with the Yandex.ru home page being rated as the most popular web site in Russia, three times the size of Google in Russia. Yandex attracts over 56 million users from all over the world.
