Meander Medisch Centrum

Van Doorne advised Meander Medisch Centrum on the credit facility of EUR 355 million, arranged with a consortium of banks comprising of Rabobank, BNG en ING Bank, for the financing of the construction of a new hospital for Meander Medisch Centrum and working capital.

This is the third such hospital financing in the Netherlands that Van Doorne has advised during the past year. The first hospital financing was Isala klinieken in Zwolle (Eur 480 million) in June 2009 followed by the VUmc in Amsterdam (Eur 426 million) in April 2010.

Van Doorne’s property practice further advised Meander on the construction agreement for the building of the new Meander Medisch Centrum hospital.

The Van Doorne team included Roel Botter and Geert Drese advising on the financing, and Mark Moolhuizen and Belle Webster on real estate matters.
