Van Doorne acts as legal and tax adviser of Ziggo, the Dutch TV/internet cable group.

Initially Van Doorne advised the Casema, Multikabel, and Essent Kabelcom management in the transaction with private equity investors Cinven Warburg Pincus and the management participation.

The transaction involved the acquisition of Casema by Cinven and Warburg Pincus from The Carlyle Group, Providence Equity Partners and GMT Communications Partners. Warburg Pincus had already acquired Multikabel. Subsequently Cinven and Warburg Pincus also acquired Essent Kabelcom (@Home). These three cable companies were merged and now continue under the name Ziggo.

Van Doorne now acts as Ziggo's adviser in various corporate and fiscal matters.

The Ziggo team includes corporate partner Hugo Reumkens and senior associate Roos van Waaij, as well as tax partner Ewout van Asbeck and candidate civil-law notary Anne-Lize van Dusseldorp.
