01-04-2012
Pieter van den Brink has been appointed as partner as from 1 January 2012 within Van Doorne’s Corporate Practice.
Pieter van den Brink (1972) has been with Van Doorne since late 1999. He obtained degrees from the University of Amsterdam in company law and the law of legal entities as well as in criminal law. In 2007, Pieter obtained a postgraduate degree in company law and corporate law (with honours) from the Grotius Academy.
Pieter is specialised in corporate law in its broadest sense, with focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate governance.
He teaches at institutions including Radboud University Nijmegen (VSO) and the Tias Nimbas Business School at Tilburg University.
Onno Boerstra, head of the practice, explains Van Doorne’s decision. “Pieter is a talented attorney who combines legal expertise with excellent commercial and social skills. The world around us is changing at an ever-increasing speed. Pieter represents a young and dynamic generation. His appointment will contribute to the expansion of our corporate practice. This expansion is also perfectly in line with Van Doorne’s growth strategy."
