Biography
Ricardo Dijkstra has been a lawyer at Van Doorne since February 2001. He advises and litigates in the area of intellectual property law, including patent law, trademark law, trade name law, copyright law and advertising law. Ricardo has special expertise in the area of patent law. He advises and litigates on the infringement and validity of patents (i.e. infringement proceedings and nullity proceedings), working together with independent patent agents. He is also experienced in the coordination of international patent disputes.
In addition, Ricardo assists pharmaceutical and other companies in the area of pharmaceutical advertising law and has experience in commodities issues concerning, for example, food products, health products and cosmetics. In this context he is, among other things, a member of the Health Care market group.
