Biography
Onno Boerstra joined Van Doorne in 1984 and has been a partner since 1992. From 1999 until 2001, as managing partner at VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne in Curaçao, he was responsible for the management and reorganisation of the Curaçao and Aruban offices. Onno joined the Amsterdam office of Van Doorne in 2001 and was managing partner in Amsterdam from 2007 until 2010. He specialises in mergers & acquisitions, private equity and buyouts, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and corporate governance, and represents several Dutch and foreign companies, private equity funds and other investors, primarily in the field of cross-border transactions.
Onno has authored several publications on corporate and related subjects, and is highly recommended for corporate/M&A and private equity in several independent international surveys.
