Biography
Annemieke has been working as a lawyer at Van Doorne since 1997. She took her law degree at Maastricht University in 1996 and earned an LL.M. degree from the University of London (UCL) in 1997. Since 2004, Annemieke has been focusing on insurance law and corporate litigation. Having worked in the Corporate department and our London office, she benefits from her ample knowledge of corporate law and wide experience in (international) transactions.
An essential part of her practice is rendering assistance to board members and supervisory directors of companies and not-for-profit entities who are faced with 'potential' claims from investors, the company or third parties . Annemieke regularly lectures and publishes on D&C Liability. She also represents accountants, lawyers and notaries in professional-liability cases. Annemieke further assists liability insurers in respect of coverage questions and disputes. Annemieke is particularly interested in and has expertise in handling cases with international aspects.
